Field Trips
Schauber Stables, LLC is proud to announce its new Field Trip Program.
School classes or Summer Camp Groups may enjoy a two hour field trip on a working horse farm and participate in a variety of farm experiences.
During their stay the children will:

Take a tour of the farm,
-
Feed a horse some treats
-
Pet and/or groom a horse,
-
Learn about horses and horse care,
-
Play with the naughty - but very cute and friendly - goats,
-
Have a pony ride or horse ride (depending upon the age and size of the children)

Make a horse related craft and
-
Play a game or perform a barn "chore."
Teachers may bring a snack or a bagged lunch for the children to eat.
Additional activities - such as making horse treats or making a tee shirt are available.
In order to maximize each child's "horse farm experience" we recommend groups of twenty children or less - - although we are willing to accommodate larger groups.
Schauber Stables, LLC is a working horse farm and children (and teachers) should dress accordingly.
The cost of the field trip is $10.00 per child. There is an additional fee of $1.00 more a child for making horse treats or making tee shirts that you or your student bring.
