Dan Decker brings with him a lifetime of education and experience. Many of the horses and riders that Dan has trained consistently succeed at the local and regional levels. Through Dan's knowledge, hardwork and dedication, Dan has the capacity and the experience to bring his client's dreams to fruition. Dan teaches the advanced hunter/jumper student as well as the beginner hunter/jumper rider - just learning to do cross rails. Dan teaches lessons several days and evenings during the week.
In addition to Dan Decker, Schauber Stables, LLC is pleased to have Lauren Baker. Lauren comes to us with years of experience of hunter/jumper experience - both in the ring and training. Lauren has successfully shown on the "A circuit" both in the United States and in Canada.
Claudia Hapeman - our guest trainer/clinician also comes to us with years of experience. Not only has Claudia shown successfully on the east coast and the west coast but she has trained with some of the biggest names in show jumping, including Ernest Dillon, Peter Leone, Ann Kurzinski and many others. Claudia offers lessons on some Sundays and does a host of clinics through out the year.
Besides Dan, Claudia and Lauren, Schauber Stables, LLC also offers lessons with Maggie Hapeman and Liz Kozakiewicz both of whom are available for lessons. Both Maggie and Liz offer beginner lessons and intermediate lessons. The lessons are thirty minutes on the horse's back. In addition to the time on the horse's back, you will learn how to groom and tack a horse.
